Canguroo Virus starts with the warmth of a funky keyboard and Rhodes sound. With its toms’ drums and lurks shakers, it gets everything settled for a take off on pure snares and expansive claps, which together with a pushing electric bass build a groovy whole, quite afro yet never leaving its tech note aside.

Bass Monster follows the saga with the same concept of shiny sounds in constant groove, this time with minimalist elements ; the twisted low modulations multiply, open up and crossover, going forward like a monster who opens the land as it moves, the melody of a Moog Sub37 sharp timbres makes the whole take tones of epic nostalgia.

Mr. Robot starts with a wall knocking down kick, a drummy fat house that goes up and down and iterates constantly as it asks : do you remember ?

Japa Rama is house music with ethnic tones for a spiritual closure that drives us towards a meditative dance in electronic abduction.

Anonymous is a manifest of rebel action in dub tone, with hitches of Jamaican soundsystem, but with the alienation of big cities. Let’s include the acapella for the remixing piracy.

The remixes for this great release are breathtaking. Manuel Sahagun delivers a good funky house, remixing Canguroo Virus. Emphasizing its keyboards original groove and standing on a cadency MS-20 bassline with a big tone, to then succumb in drums that drop and stumble, narcotized in reverbs and delays, the timestretch makes them go from organic and gummy to metallic and flinching, in a trip which however never looses minimalist elegance.

Finally, the Spanish Marcos In Dub gives us a remix with demolishing kicks, abrasive modulations that shake the walls, open and close filters to make splinters in its path, the Freaky Bass Monster is transformed into an alien and abducts us for an interstellar journey.

To conclude another remix in really serious mood, a steamroller of low frequencies and jaw breakers kicks by the infallible Blax Draft that leads to the irresistible dance with steps that hit the earth seismically.
